Inconsiderate but could be worse, had several years of torture with all night parties in first house as next door was private rented and always dss who for whatever reason felt the need to celebrate the weekend after a week of no work, almost cracked up with it even had to fight on the front lawn after being attacked by scumbags exiting the house

Hillside desolate

Is 8:30 late to cut the grass? I wouldn't, but only because a couple of the neighbours nearby have babies. I don't think it's a big deal really.

Eye for an eye with our neighbours. They play loud annoying music until the early hours (they don't work), so I might run the hoover round, washing machine on full cycle at 07:00

To be honest I feel 8.30 pm is a little late for cutting grass, if there's neighbours to consider.

Last night though my gobby neighbour was shouting at her kids in the room that is next to mine by the party wall at 10.30 pm and woke me up yelling

In a town Fab forgot

My next door neighbour could compete for England in the moaning Olympics.

So far I've changed where I park my car 5 times as it's "in their way". Last time they I asked I pointed out their previous requests and asked them where would be acceptable. Funnily enough none of the spots I've vacated seem to be out of bounds when they have visitors.

They've complained about me having a bonfire in the garden. It was a barbeque.

They've complained about the length of my grass.

They've complained about a pile of brick rubble on my path. It's two bags of leaves waiting for the green bin collection.

And best of all, they complained about me leaving my kitchen light on all day.

Anyone want to swap?

As you say it’s a nice night to sit in the garden but equally a nice night to cut the grass . Get some ear plugs in or head phones and live and let live

I'll take the mowing and swap you for constant loud shit music - bellowing on the phone ( in Italian ) slamming doors and revving car engines at 7am

I've asked him politely to keep the noise down - I've banged on the floor which basically means shut the fuck up and I've tried kindness by saving his bicycle from the landlord.

But nothing works - I hate him!

Same but it's directly next door ,fuckers keep throwing their fag butts over the fence.

Then we have a party also going on the other side as well downstairs, but we know that upstairs nextdoor will be going into the early hours as they do every fucking night of the week.

In your bed

Unless it's Windsor Castle, the mowing of the lawn is not going to take too long.

We cut it late last night as it was hot in the day and we did not want people who were out during the day getting irritated early on in the day.

Its got to get cut at some time.

couple, us we him her.

Is it unreasonable to expect to be able to sit in your own garden on a warm Saturday evening and enjoy a chilled out drink?

Ok we don't expect our neighbours to be as quiet as church mice.

But when there's about 10-15 of them sitting in their garden from 12pm right through until the early hours, making such a noise that it's impossible to sit in your own garden or even have doors open if inside..

Am I being a stick in the mud expecting them to have a little bit of consideration for others?

No it's not unreasonable but these people don't care that's why they do it

I have completely cunts below me - I'm literally wearing earplugs as I type this

I shouldn't have to - but I feel so much better not having to listen to shit music or irritating voices!

Ok look I would love a quick poll here to guage opinions.

We have had some new neighbours move in a few months ago next door.

Until then the area itself is pretty quietin the past 3 weeks they have a two really loud parties going on until early hours.

She sits in her garden smoking drug's every day the stank wafts into our house.

We can't sit in the garden at weekend coz they are so noisy and can't use it during the day due to the smell of drug's.

Here's the dilemma.

I have their landlords no ,do I give them one more chance.

Or do I try to nip it in the bud and ring him now before it goes to far??

She had already denied that it's her smoking it yet I have seen her doing it every day.

What's the point of us having a garden we can't use ??
