Saw a physio yesterday, after 4-5 months now I can understand what my hip pains are and why I am in agony when I walk anywhere
Spinal stenosis
Anyone else suffer this debilitating condition? |

Yes. I had it so severely that I now have a coflex implant in my spine and permanent numbness in one leg, foot and toes from nerve damage. I empathise. Keep your core muscles strong and keep as active as possible.
Best wishes to you. |

I have canal stanosis in my cervical spine. I now fear it's also in my lower back. Off to see an orthopaedic surgeon next week.
I definitely feel for you.
I've started doing some yoga to help strengthen my muscles and to stretch out my spine. |

Yeh I bought an exercise bike and medicine ball today so I can strengthen my core and upper leg muscles
Try telling your partner walking is bad for you |

"Ok so only a few of us affected
You should look it up
It’s fucking annoying no energy "
It shouldn't cause you to lack energy. What pain medication are you on, could it be that? -I found a Tens unit helped. |

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest |
I see patients with this condition on a regular basis. It's tough, because it can have a profound effect on a person's quality of life. Barring surgery, which isn't necessarily a guarantee of symptom free living, the best one can hope for is managing their symptoms as best as possible. Unfortunately, the condition only gets worse with time and almost always results in an operative intervention.
My heart goes out to everyone that has to deal with this condition. |

It is. I was one of the first patients my surgeon had used a coflex on. I had to have a couple of mri scans afterwards and he phoned to ask me how successful I felt it was. I'm extremely grateful that he decided to do it. |
