The only one where someone busted themselves was, three hours before the meet, which had been arranged for a week (after a social meet)they texted to say, "sorry, Mrs has got her period early. Gutted, must sort another meet soon, blah, blah, blah.." .. well, that's fine, shit happens, and we've had to cancel for the same reason.
However, the following day they posted veris from a meet, referring to "Saturday night" and even had their profile update on Sunday morning saying something like "shagged out after a monster fuck-fest last night"
Cheers! |

Best one we had was from a guy who cancelled at the last moment stating his mother had just come round.
It would have been fine but a few days earlier in conversation he had said she had been dead for years..... Sort of smelt wrong lol. |

Don't ya think the world would be a better place if the people making the excuses would own up to the fact that they probably got cold feet or a better offer. Why the lies? |

I've had people cancel way in advance, I don't mind at all as my social meets are during my lunch break or after work at the station so I don't miss my train.
I was due to meet someone at 5.45pm, I told him not to be late (my train is at 6 and I don't do waiting). He swore up and down he wouldn't be late.
Any how, at 5.30 I logged onto the site and he was in chat, the site I was on showed where you were on site. I knew where he was coming from and knew he wouldn't get there on time. At 5.45 when I logged off he was still chatting.
A minute later he phoned telling me the train was delayed and he'd be there at 6.30, could he still come. I said sure, and went home.
An hour later he phoned to say he was at the station, where was I. I said in my kitchen, cappuccino in hand reading the evening paper.
He was surprised bless him, he really thought I'd be waiting...yeah...right! |

The arrangement was to arrive in Leicester at some point late afternoon-early evening, stay here and for me to drop him off at a couple’s house the next day … the couple were having a social/party.
I text to see how his journey was going and got no reply, yet his name kept appearing on the users online now at the bottom of the forum page (it was another site).
Eventually he sent a pm claiming he was stuck at a train station in Birmingham after someone had jumped in front of a train. He claimed his phone was dead but had borrowed a stranger’s laptop to send a pm via the website. He claimed the police were not letting anyone leave the station as they needed to take witness statements… he kept up this charade for 6 hours, continuing to claim he was borrowing a strangers laptop… not to log onto msn, but to keep logging on to the swinging site.
I’d long ago decided it was all a load of bollox, but just to be sure I had this confirmed by one of my contacts who works for the Transport Police.
I would have drawn a line under the whole thing and just moved on until…. late that evening he (as a regular forum user) decided to post how gutted he was at missing a meet and what a shit day he’d had… lapping up the “oh poor you, it must have been awful being there when someone died… blah blah blah.

someone said to me once about train problems and they didn't know i work for the trains so i know delays and stuff
was fantastic telling them that i knew they was lying and if they wanted proof i could send the delay times for that area.

No you see mine was a 'bona fide' excuse...When he told me he was abducted by aliens he wasn't lying at all....
When we did eventually meet a couple of weeks later he had three circular burn marks on his scalp, one of eye balls had been turned the wrong way around....and there were still signs of an alien probe hanging out of his arse.
We.....he did promise me 'Out of this world' sex after all!

Mine was sad- I traveled to meet a couple socially first meet- I'm at designated place early as usual... Then get a text from lady- sorry Hubbie has to work and forgot to say- ok I say and decided to go and meet a vanilla friend , so sat on a bus going in the opposite direction to the way I arrived- and I see both male and female in a car at the traffic lights.. They had sent pics I recognised them and text her- watch out for that cyclist... Never did get a text back.. All they had to say was no thank you. |

I remember that (not that I was the guy in question) and remember that story being so far fetched it was embaressing to read.
