I had more men contact me. I guess they thought that veri made me genuine and more likely to meet them (there are a lot of moans about timewasters and fakes on my local updates).

I was very different in those long ago days and had a meet the same day - i now take weeks - but as others say, it's mainly difficult for single men. I don't think it's changed much, though those who prefer to contact people with a veri would obviously message.
Some would message a profile for a decaying tree stump with a hole, with or without a veri.  |

This is my second time on the site. The first time I managed to find a meet (and get verfied) very quickly. I then had a break and expected it to be easy when i returned with a brand new profile. But it took a long time before i got a meet and the verification did help get more. |

No difference, oh hang on I'm lying, my first veri had a number of what I'd call "in jokes" which actually made it worse for me on here grrrrr
You then get questioned "why have you hid my veri "
Etc etc and it's not like you can stipulate what they put......oh shit I've just realised where I'm going wrong hahahha |

Neither my first nor my last have made any difference other than proving I'm genuine and real which is what they're there for.
In fact I was recently in a position where a veri I'd left for someone else was totally unfairly used against them in a thread and caused me to question the value of publishing them at all - although on balance I decided I have nothing to hide and if people want to judge based on them it's their problem not mine. |
