I think she seems very nice and she has done charity work abroad, besides being an actress. They look very happy and it is unlikely Harry will become King, unless, God forbid, William and his family are killed in an accident, so good luck to them, Harry deserves some happiness  |

He must see something in her as he has had beautiful woman throwing themselves at him for years. At the end of the day he's far enough down the line now that it doesn't really matter who he marries |

I'm not sure you ever fully know someone in the early stages of a relationship,not 100% anyway.

She seems keen to fit in with the family and 'learn the rope's. She speaks very well and confidently. I prefer her to Kate, there seems a falseness about her and she often puts her own family before the royals |

She's younger than me so I don't think she's old. The only thing I ever sawvher in was Suits and nobody in that acted well. I thought social climbing as an insult stopped being used in the fifties, people should be able to mix with who they please in my opinion.
Whether it will end in tears or not I don't know. The divorce rate in this country is pretty high, did I read that its 50%? They have every opportunity to make things work but then so do lots of other people. I hope it works for them both. |

For good or for bad they get to choose for themselves, that's a step in the right direction at least.
People should back off, no relationship fairs well under such intense scrutiny. |

That's true. But if it's going to succeed it will scrutinised or not.
Without knowing much about either of them I'd say a fairly famous actress is better equipped to deal with scrutiny than most. |

Wouldn’t you? Most newly married girls with young families lean on their Mums for support & advice. Why should Kate have to prioritise Camilla & Charles over her own parents? I think Kate is just shy; Meghan is accustomed to being a public figure so that is going to make her seem more natural.
I think both couples show a great awareness of what the modern world needs from them & they are a breath of fresh air!!

Their choices and lives, though the people are paying for them
The 'firm' will probably have learned from past experiences and have some greater restraints on them, should it not all go perfectly - so maybe there won't be so much gossip, that some people love to lap up. |

She was fairly well known in the states before meeting Harry. She did some interviews, was on a cooking show and other stuff. She always came across as a nice person, maybe a bit smug but that's just an opinion not a fact |

I haven't seen her acting in anything and haven't seen interviews either so I have no idea about her.
Harry seems pretty clued up about life though and I'd think he's gone into this with his eyes wide open.
I feel bad for her that her 'family' keep openly bitching about her but it just shows what type of people they are.
I wish them well.  |

Well she would probably never have won an Oscar if she had continued to act, but she was a decent enough actress for the series she was in.
Social climber? What's wrong with wanting something better for yourself?

I think Harry would have had less grief if he'd proposed to Caitlin Jenner!
I would love himself to look at me the way he looks at her. Sadly, I doubt it will last as I don't think she really has a clue what's in store for her, but I wish them all the best. |

Last time I seen her she was still lovely, bubbly and down to earth. Not sure she will fit in as a Windsor but she may aswell give it a go, she's not doing much acting nowadays, keeps her busy planning her wedding. |
