Would hate to be a teenager nowadays in the 80's no mobiles recording everything then being posted online...and if someone didnt like you they might talk behind your back but they couldnt say nasty things anonymously for everyone to see.

I use Twitter for work, I use Facebook so I can keep in touch with friends & family who live around the country. I don’t feel I’m a slave to it, but then I don’t even open FB every day.

I 'gave up' Facebook for Lent. It wasn't hard, although I spent more time here and on the BBC website instead. Easter was over a month ago, and I've looked at facebook perhaps 4 times since. I don't miss it.

We were in the Outer Hebridies and west coast of Scotland last year wild camping for a week and it was bliss. Barely even had a phone signal! Donald Trump could have nuked half the world and we wouldnt have known. I don't think I'd give it up permanently too easily though.
