Anyone participating ? Weathers warming up but please be careful with the pruning shears and hedge trimmers .

Be careful of any nesting birds now I try and leave mine till late summer.

Hedges that may contain nesting birds SHOULD NOT be cut before mid June. If your hedges are getting out of hand that's your own fault for not doing it at the right time.

First cut of hedges should be carried out from mid June onwards with a second cut in the autumn but definitely before March.
