Thanks! I just had a little reverie of buying said item. It had a label saying, One size feets all. It's a bit faded and worn but it still 'feets' all as I have gained several dress sizes since buying it. And I'm old.

It's a judgemental sort of place. It's unlikely you will have had more life experiences that most of us old folk but you will have had different ones that shape you. We all walk our own paths.
Try putting up a meet in the meets section. Relatively few people read the fora and a straight request for a meet isn't going to get you very far.
Chatting here will get you known to the small band that chatter on here and that might lead to a social meet which might encourage others to meet you.
Get out more and meet people face to face.
