Bought a printer and print quality is not upto satisfaction.. contacted the retailer on the 14th day and he says, he can’t accept return as printers are not subject to statutory consumers right because there is ink involved and you have used the printer. I contacted consumers helpline and they advised that you are within your rights to return the printer as it’s not of satisfactory quality.

What do I do when retailer is refusing to accept return?

C.C. and have disputed the transaction under section 75

C.C. and have disputed the transaction under section 75 "

You'll get a refund of the c/card company then, they'll do a charge back against the retailer; up to them (the retailer) to try and get the printer returned then

didnt wait, I was away the week it arrived and the ordered glossy paper and when it arrived and I printed the quality wasn’t good so I thought it might be the paper as it was 100gsm so I ordered 260gsm and still the same result

Super annoyed today and feel like an idiot

An online independent retailer.. big mistake curry’s would have taken it back in a heart beat

We all live and learn. Report to Trading Standards. Threaten Small Claims Court proceedings and report the matter to your Credit Card provider who will dispute the matter on your behalf.

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.. you can spend more time fighting these things than the money is worth.. oh I just said something sensible
