How much of an age gap is too much ? Their is a woman I work with who is 24 and I'm 38. We flirt and it could lead to more. Would that gap impact on a relationship, cheers for any advice !

I'd have fun with someone older than me. Maybe 20yrs older, but not a relationship. You do see younger lasses with older guys alot though.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer to that question, as long as you are both consenting adults and mature enough, that is a decision you need to come to together.

My biggest age gap in a relationship was 16 years. My longest ever relationship he was 14 years older than me. Age is just a number

I was asked out by a 23 year old a few years ago so I was at least double her age. I actually declined as I felt she was too young.....in hindsight I should have at least gone out with her for a bit right ? One of my best friends is in her 30’s and people do sometimes assume I am her dad which of course she finds fucking hilarious.

13 years between hubby and I never had an issue with it and neither has any of my friends or family.

Been together 13 years this year

But if I cast my mind back I think my father in law gave hubby a pat on the back when we got together

Live in spain

My fb is 14 years younger and I'm starting to maybe date a guy 10 years younger. I used to have a strict no younger than 4 years rule until I met my fb and didn't know his age. It made me realize I was being sillyas It all depends on the person.

I guess it becomes more of an issue in much later life when one partner is a fit and active 70 yo and the other is 90 ...

Lower limit? I once heard 'half your age plus 1 for every decade'.

So 26 for me.

lifes for living

when your old and no longer feeling horny you wont be saying

i wish i had worked more

i wish i had done more gardening

i wish i had gone to college

youll be saying i wish i had had more sex and taken every opportunity

I had a long term relationship with someone who was 16 years older. For me is didn't work. I feel that age difference doesn't matter so much when you're younger, but when you get older it does.

I wouldn't want to think I was in my 50's and my partner was in his 70's.

Age is just a number. My new play toy is 25, he's more adult than me.

If it works and you're both happy, go for it.

My ex husband is 21 years older than me. It didn't seem to be a big thing for quite some time but towards the end I was finding my sexuality and love of life and he was finding his pipe and slippers. I was with him for 14 years and the age difference did become an issue.

When people say age is just a number, there are big numbers and small numbers but I agree if it works for the individuals involved then it works or as Jacamo says if it fits, it fits

I find age and maturity are not necessarily in synch. Hence, it’s not the age I assess but the level of maturity compatibility (within legal age frames).

Age really is just a number.

My grandfather remarried many years after the death of his first wife, he was 40 years older than his second wife!

They had a very happy marriage, had 2 children (my uncles are both younger than me).
