Cats are awesome... They can be affectionate with hen they want. They don't crave attention like dogs. They know what they want and can be left to fend for themselves when need be. They're tidy |

Tell your child the cat's job is to find dead mice and bring them to you so you can bury them and send them up to heaven.
The mice died of old age and are going to heaven to live with their mummies and daddies.

"Cats are evil "
There's a Siamese cat a few doors down that I swear gives me the evils when I pass. My cat however is nice and fluffy and is very happy bringing mice in from the garden...much to the delight of himself who did piss himself laughing at me screaming and jumping on the furniture.
Said I reminded him of the black woman in Tom & Jerry! |

I did have a cat, he was lovely, but left dead mice all over the place. |

"my cat is far from being evil he's so laid back and very friendly
he always brings me dead mice to show how much he loves me "
My cat brings them in live and once himself has stopped laughing at me rescues them and returns it to the garden. He never kills anything...at night he's out with his megalight collecting slugs and snails in a jar then walks 200m to the green at the top off the road and releases them. |

"..keeps leaving dead mice outside my back door and it's really upsetting my child..
my fault I suppose for living in the country "
Try sprinkling garlic granules by where the cat keeps leaving the mice
Cats hate garlic !
You can buy repellant granules from Wilkinson or garden shops
Hope this helps
I use them to stop cats fouling my flower beds and it’s worked x |

He tends to deal with them in a high speed and intelligent manner. "

That's the downside of cats unfortunately. I didn't realise cats ate mice until I heard the breaking of bones once. I don't know the solution apart from trying to make sure you have a quick look out of the door first before your son and dispose of it. |

When I used to live in at work the other girls cats used to leave dead rabbits outside doors on the landings. So you nice step on them.
Never left them outside my room so it didn't bother me lol. |

I love cats but wouldn't have one for precisely this reason - along with the responsibility of having to look after something, the risk of being athought of as "sad single woman with cat," etc... |

Eugh that crunching/squelching noise as they eat them. Always an odd foot or bit of tail left to indicate the scene of the crime, which is almost worse than a full mouse |

hiding from cock pics. |
My cat keeps bringing all kinds of animals in from frogs to really big birds.
I have to put a big bell on his collar to hopefully sort this out. I'm really tired of chasing birds he's brought around the house as he brings them in alive and they are flying around. I then try to release them, or is the poor things are hurt, I take them to the vet who will treat any wildlife you bring. |

You're lucky it is only tiny mice! We have had pigeons n all sorts! Mine usually eat the whole bloody lot tho so is gone by the end of the day. Just tell your little un the truth...the cat thinks you are a rubbish hunter so ya need someone to hunt for you so ya don't starve that is obviously only one theory tho...think mine are of the "ya snooze ya lose" way of thinking |
