My sentiments too. I'd love to have a dog, but I work sucky hours, and live alone, so it'd be incredibly selfish/unfair to have a dog, and I'm not a cat person at all.
So I built a sodding great bit pond and keep fish. The keep themselves, for the most part, but still have personalities and amuse me greatly. Win/win. |

Actually I'm reminded of a thingy or other that I saw on F/B a long while back. Lock a cat and a dog in the boot of a car for a while, which will still be happy to see you again? (Ignore the obvious animal cruelty part).
That pretty much sums up the whole argument for me. |
