I saw it and it was really good. Louis is a great journalist and has a brilliant way of interviewing. He looks like butter wouldnt melt, but he puts his questions in such a way that there is little doubt the point he is trying to get across, sometimes the Americans just dont get it do they  |

I am watching an old Louis Theroux documentary on Swingers.
I remember watching this a very long time ago and laughing at it and not quite believing the kind of people and what goes on.
Its really interesting watching this now that Ive experienced the 'lifestyle' - amazing how different my views are and how I understand this a little better now |

Fascinating programme.When the redneck with the animal 'sanctuary' that his wfe financed and who bathes with his baboon told louie that he had never loved or respected another human,then louie asked "what!,not even your wife?" and he said no with his wife standing right next to him my jaw hit the deck!

"He is visually weird to me, quirky I suppose is the word so can't take him seriously."
That's why it works. He looks geeky and acts in an almost childlike way, asking lots of questions, but underneath all that he asks the pertinent questions and because of the way its all delivered it catches people off guard and they open up so you get a glimpse of the truth. |
