Clove oil - hope you feel better soon. (And get to the dentist if you haven’t already!)

Strong painkillers. Visit the dentist. Might need antibiotics.

Clove oil can be good or if it's an exposed nerve you can cover it with a piece of bread in the hole, or buy a temporary filling. There is also a gel you can buy to numb the area.

I dealt with my last toothache with alcohol and paracetamol though.

"Cocodamol"

This but cold water separation leaves you with just the codeine, much better

Ibuprofen rather than paracetamol as it helps with swelling (Dentist told me that).

Clove oil.

Dental visit asap!

Isn't there a walk-in dental surgery in your area? Or call NHS 111 who will have details of the emergency dentists in your area.

Worst pain in world.. feel sorry for you OP.

In the past I have used cool minty chewing gum stuck over the tooth - the cool sensation took the pain away.

Also asprin is far mor effective for toothache than any other over the counter painkiller.

Orajel may also help

Oh dear OP, toothache is the worst type of pain, it's even worse than childbirth, and I've had 3 children! Sympathies to you.

I suggest you get to the dentist as soon as you can, and in the meantime take pain killers.

Hope you soon get some relief.
