That’s what I’d heard and she refuses to even speak English anymore.

I heard that it is her uncle who doesn't like people but she actually does.

Just that they record their songs in English. Nothing more than that

I absolutely detest abba .... when I was growing up in 70`seventys everyone was obsessed with them.... I was more into 10cc ... simon and garfunkel, supertramp .... old prog rock stuff .... I still cannot understand why they have made yet another come back .... the film mamma mia was complete and utter tripe .... for goodness sake .... just put them in room 101 ..... and let me push the lever ...... aaaargh .......gone forever ...

I think it’s vary rarely that groups that come back after so long are really more than a brief flicker.

That are of a time and were good in that time

Well it will be a bit of an obstacle to record a song if she refuses to speak x

Love Abba. Agnetha was never comfortable with live performances and fame. She has still recorded music over the years. I love her voice. Probably my favourite female singing voice ever. Love them.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

They've had 'Abbatars' created for the virtual tour. I think it's great that they have put their differences aside and are happy to be with each other again. I've loved Abba ever since seeing them on Eurovision in 1974.

I don't quite get this new concept of having 'live' concerts with virtual acts (I'd call it a film).

They've done it for the simplest of reasons. They enjoyed it, they don't the need money or fame

Love ABBA. I grew up listening to them (child of the 70s). I was born the year they won Eurovision. I was in an ABBA tribute band in my youth. (Slightly giddy at the news).

how dare you.....

how VERY dare you....

I am chuffed.... they are my not so secret weakness...

I like the thought of them making new music just to see what it is like... but as long as they don't tour i am happy...

I wouldn't want them to ruin their legacy by doing actual concerts... thats what ABBA GOLD is there for!!!

-See Abba are back.

-Ah, that’s sad.

-Wha’ – why?

-Well, they were so – I don’t know – iconic.

-Hang on – I didn’t say they were dead.

-Oh.

-I said they’re back.

-Oh – grand.

-Did yeh think they all died at the same time – all four o’ them?

-Some sort o’ suicide pact, yeah. They’re Swedish – it wouldn’t be tha’ weird up there.

-In a fuckin’ sauna.

-Listenin’ to Dancin’ Queen.

-Well, I’d fuckin’ kill meself if I had to listen to tha’ shite too often.

-They’ve recorded some new songs.

-Ah, Jesus. I mean, they must be a fair age by now. Older than us, like.

-Yeah.

-Do you want to see a pair of oul’ ones on zimmers singin’ Take a Chance on Me?

-It’s a bit frightenin’, alrigh’. But the new numbers might reflect their age.

-Here – Gimme gimme gimme Complan after midnigh’.

-Good one. Annyway, I think it’s kind o’ nice.

-Tha’ they’ve reformed?

-Yeah – it’s nice.

-Is it?

-Ah, it is.

-They must’ve broken up – when? Must nearly a hundred years ago, is it?

-Close enough, yeah. So, it’s a good thing, is it?

-Ah, yeah.

-As long as we don’t have to listen to them.

-Absolutely.

not really feeling it.... like i said... they best concert would be to hire a concert venue and just put abba gold on shuffle.... so every night would be a different night!!!!!!

apparently they were literally offered a BILLION dollars to do a world tour a few years ago and they refused......

so their number would have a whole load of "zero's" in it
