Lie awake worrying about not being asleep and having a presentation first thing tomorrow. Tried and tested sheep counting, masturbation and nytol cocktail not working. Fellow insomniacs any tips? |

Yep, the screens have a certain light that simulates daylight to the brain keeping you awake, some smartphones have a 'blue light filter' to compensate when it's turned on so you get to sleep easier. |

Audiobook on app and sleep timer, or iplayer radio and choose a drama story and let it play out. Trust me, you’ll fall asleep annoyingly and miss what’s going on and because you’ve selected a story it will stop at the end so you don’t have the fall asleep and wake up a bit later because the radio is still going situation you would if you put live radio on.

Thanks guys and presentation went well. Thank you caffeine and makeup Heard on the radio this morning that eating 2 kiwi fruit an hour before bed helps with sleep for some scientific reason above my head including serotonin or something. Anyway might be worth a try fellow insomniacs
