Is not a word I have ever heard before, but when I read the BBC article about the possible reasons behind the Ram Raid in Canada caused by Alek Minassian, I will admit my thoughts did automatically fall back to FAB and some of the recent threads started by 'some' men that clearly show their frustrations about their lack of success and how they come across as self entitled to sex purely because they have joined a website made me think, is this a movement by modern day young men?
Has their thought process been skewed by watching porn?
The 'Rebellion Movement' has also been linked to thinking that r*ape should be a just cause because 'women are deemed' inferior'
If this is the case is this something we should worry about becoming wider spread?
Reading about it all did certainly make me do a double take on some of the thinking of young men of this era and is this set to become worse?
What are your thoughts?

I do think porn has a lot to do with it and the fact they are socially inept. Ive seen threads and status's with such things as "looking for a pussy to pound" "shag now" or simply sending a message saying "fuck". Are these guys succesful? Obviously not. They dont have two brain cells to rub together |

Then, when their expectations are not met, they can’t cope with the rejection, don’t have the emotional intelligence to think about it objectively and so throw a tantrum. This is skewing off in another direction, given the OP’s example and such, but in the interests of balanced discussion (yeah, I know, it’s fabs) unrealistic expectations, a misguided sense of entitlement, is not exclusive to males.
The Kardashian effect, has a lot to answer for. |

That was my thought, but the man I was thinking about on here from yesterday was not a youngster!
But unfortunately his is not the only example of late, and that is what I thought was scary, is this 'thought process' actually a real thing! Will it continue to worsen?
Do sites like this make their 'skewed judgements worse'
Or is there a way to tackle this before it becomes more heightened?
I was shocked to be honest about the experts view in trying to understand why this tragedy happened  |

So the guy kills folk because he cant get laid
plenty brothels about or he could try actually going out the old fashoned way what a wierd excuse the freak no sympathy at all for the little fraggle i got family in toronto
Hell he wont have to worry about sex now im sure a big butch guy will take him under his wing |

The thing I was alluding to is that he was following the thought process of a previous mass murderer not that this was a one time act, so is this going to become a thing?

Not all men are bad, there are lots more lovely, normal ones who don’t treat others like sexual objects than those who see porn as being how sex should be.
Fab isn’t a true representation of the sexual proclivities of the general population anyway. Plus some on here, just say anything to get a reaction. Whether it is good or bad.

I’d say that’s probably a fair comment - the younger generation certainly seem to think they should be afforded ‘rights’ as a given that a mature generation would have never considered! Yes I do believe the internet has a lot to answer for |

The thing that I read about Minassian was that he is described as "impressionable and socially awkward". Those are the reasons he couldn't get sex but I think their anger at men who can get sex and women for not giving them sex are rooted in their lack of self-esteem. The interweb makes it easier to find others like them and those that like to stir things up. If you're impressionable then being influenced by the stirrers is bound to happen.
I was reading a report last year that stated that about 30% of young men (24-30) felt feminism had gone too far and it was time for men to take back control and put women 'back in their place'. I'd hoped that young men would not have such outmoded ideas but there is stubborn strain that persists.

I'd have to say what you watch and how you act are completely separate and in no way correlate with one another (GENERALLY). I watch porn and even when I was 16 or 18 I never once acted in relation to what I had seen on the internet, regardless of porn or other sexist opinions of dominance or inferiority.
