the quickest way to gets peoples attention is to nor pay them.... it is harsh, but ti get away with it they must have something in the present contracts saying they can... in which case if i was a member of those unions I'd be mortified... |

Way to go Quantas!!!
It's about time someone took on the Air Transport unions. They do it (strike) every year around the holiday season and Christmas/Newyear period.
Maybe the rest might grow a spine and stand up to the unions. |

in the case of BA staff... I agreed with the cabin crew as management made promises that they didn't keep... then decided to further punish those who took action...
people forget that striking is the last option....
this is slightly different in the effect that this isn't a strike.. this is a lockout...
I am still surprised that in the qantas contracts they had a "we don't need you, you don't get paid" provision.... |
