Being a friendly coach driver, the general thing when you see another coach driver on the roads (whatever company) we usually give a wave or a nod, just to say hello etc..... that is until you reach the A406 when everyone seems to think your fucking mad!
Ok so the elite drivers (kings ferry / reliance etc) think they are snobs, and look down on everyone, even the local busses within the A406 are the same.
Home counties are much friendlier, always give a wave back and a smile.
So the question is... are you a coach / bus driver? And do you acknowledge other drivers with a smile? Or do you drive for kings ferry? |

When i started as a coach driver, it was not classed as a friendly hello, it was to let the driver who was going the way you had come from that the road was clear, no problems, speed traps etc,
not a snob but i don't bother much with the wave anymore, too busy watching out for the "must get in front of the coach/bus at all costs" brigade
