Arsene wengers last season

It is his last season as a manager with just few games to go. I like him, the days of having the same manager is truly gone, ferguson and arsene are the last one standing, he did blame that the passion of the fan wasnt there in his interview, its shown that most clubs that keep changing it, will most likely face relegation, who is the favourite to take over? There are rumours that it could be gazidis

I'll be sad to see Wenger go. Although i'm also looking forward to a fresh face at Arsenal. Hopefully the change will be a positive one.

If like Diego Simeone but his style is so dramatically different to Wengers he might actually have a worse season than this one. If he was given 2 full seasons he'd make Arsenal extremely competitive again though.

I like Wenger - he created the invincibles and he saw the talent in Dennis Bergkamp (still the greatest player to play in the Premier League)

P.S im not an Arsenal fan - they play boring football these days...

It will be interesting to see who they go for, I’m not sure I see simeone go there without champions league football and so far off the top 4, you could say the same for ancelotti. You would think they will need someone who plays attractive football but there are not many successful cases of that these days. Eddie Howe maybe? If they went for Rafa he would completely change the way they play and the fans wouldn’t have it

It’s all relative, I personally prefer lower league football in many ways and go to watch a couple of local sides too. Less agro, more fun and far, far cheaper

If they lose to Newcastle in their last game they will earn a new nickname... The Unable To Win Awayables.

Agree that a lot of PL fans are twats. Tbh, the money in the game now has created a new breed of twattishness and certain clubs excel at it (mainly the London clubs tbh!). Arsenal Fan TV is pure comedy gold and should be the first port of call for anyone that's had a bad day in the office. As for my club (Utd) I feel like punching a fan at least once every home game due to some of the crap that's spouted and there's no wonder there's such a drain from the game of the "old school" working class fan and many seek solace in their local lower league/non-league club.

As for Wenger, as a Utd fan I was never a lover but you can't argue with some of the great teams he built and that mid-90's to mid-noughties period was one of the great rivalries between 2 clubs and 2 great managers. Wenger just become a victim of his own stubbornness the last few years and the Gooners have been left behind. We've shown that you just can't replace someone who leaves such a legacy as Fergie did and Arsenal will need to make sure they bring the right man in or they'll be left even further behind the elite. As a club they've lost their backbone and on the pitch they're a bunch of prima donnas that need a rocket up their arse!
