Think about the options. Continually. Over and over. Weigh up the options. Make up my mind. Change my mind. Start the process again.
I'm a bit indecisive. Sorry. |

How do you manage to get dressed every day?

As best I can. With anxiety but determination. Using comfortable habit where possible. Acknowledging that change comes with fear. With support and encouragement where possible. But mostly on my own with an underlying feeling of melancholy. |

Eek! I really hope not every decision faced on your own has an underlying feeling of melancholy.

"I usually don't tend to consciously think about and let my unconscious do the work- anwer pops up after a while by itself
Even for time critical/immediate decisions?
"
I am very much a gut feeling person. time critical- still gut feeling and not allowing myself to let fear interfear with it. do it and remember that you might have been afraid of it afterwards |

"How do you make decisions?
I don't, and then the opportunity has sailed.
Isn't that a decision in itself?
"
Nope, I sit there going shall I shan't I? Shall I, shan't I?
Before I know it, I think I will... then look at the clock and do the maths. Ahhhh.... too late. |

"I make decisions based on is it long term or short, time or money.
You have criteria for each?
"
A bit analytical about my thinking.
time/money, heavily depend on you saying yes or no, by being decisive and carefully choosing what you spend your time on not to say don't enjoy your time but the 80/20 rule comes in handy. I work and think with the mindset of time is much more valuable than money. Anything that wants to waste my time like some people on fab immediately I will put a stop to that.
At the end of the day a yes, is a yes, a no is a no and no answer is also a no.
If I am going to do something I will factor in the pros and cons - am I going to regret so and so, what is the circumstance if yes for how long short-term or long-term.
short-term decisions and changes can be rectified if all fail within a year to 5 tears.
long-term, however, are life-changing decisions could cost you a lifetime of worries and pain so no or think very carefully before taking that step and think what does it mean to me?
My criteria are basically short-term, long-term, time, money. Temporary or permanent. |

"How do you make decisions?

Depends on what the decision is about...if its personal tend to go with gut/heart...if its professional then pros/cons list...if its financial then in depth financial analysis

To paraphrase Gigerenzer: The quest of certainty is a deep human desire. Therefore, I usually try to weigh the pros and the cons of any situation and if I can assess all the risks, I follow up a logical reasoning.
But unfortunately, not every situation is that simple and most of things are uncertaint so I use my intuition and smart rules of thumb.
Hopes that helps |
