It's just passed here. A bit of strobe lights and some rumbling timpani drums. Now just gurgling rain.

Thunder and Lightening have gone from here but the periodic really heavy downpours have continued since 9.30pm last night.

When I was on an interstate flight from Atlanta to Phoenix, we had to do a 200 mile detour to avoid one over Texas, was pretty spectacular to watch though even with the turbulence
