Hoping to pick up the one PSB 12" tomorrow I want..last time I queued was for a Dressden Dolls vinyl but the shop only had 2 copies and I was third person to ask for it! Rough Trade in Notts is pretty good at having lots in though |

Is an annual thing to try and increase interest in independent record stores - various artists release limited edition vinyl etc to coincide with it - for example I know Madness have an album of b-sides out this year.
People go mad for it and queue for hours to get their hands on stuff - trouble is stores only get a limited supply and don't always get everything that is released, or may only get one copy, so the queuing could be in vain.
The other thing being you get a lot of sharks who buy loads and then put it straight on eBay for a profit. |
