What’s the most you’ve sacrificed for someone’s happiness

My whole life basically.
I changed my job, my lifestyle, where I lived, walked away from someone I loved. All to try and help a family member. I did think it was the right thing to do at the time maybe I shouldn't of rushed into it. |

I sacrificed my entire life to be a full time live in carer for my mum.
I gave up work, my home, my social life and most of my friends.
It's worth it for the peace of mind knowing she is well cared for, happy and relatively healthy but I do worry about the future for myself.
When the time comes and my mum is no longer with us i will be starting over from scratch with nothing. I remember how hard it was when I first left home and i had the support of my parents that time, this time I won't have that. |

Im off work this week & planned a few bed days but ive dug out 40 square mtrs of grass, laid 3 ton of stones & took a grinder to a fence creating a driveway. The things you do |
