All computer systems fail today, for the foreseeable future, including anything that's in any way managed or has tech integrated. What happens?
I'm thinking of airports, electricity/gas/fuel supplies etc, food and other distribution and much of what we're reliant upon.

"Anarchy"
I think it would very quickly descend into total chaos - people without food, unable to buy much from shops that don't get deliveries, as the computer controlled production and distribution systems have failed.
Probably fuel stations without fuel, so you'd not be able to travel easily. |

we did experience a snap of this issue, when BA system gone down foe 3 days, which caused the fliets to cancel, twice RBS group's network gone down, which caused ATM and bank to shutdown. NHS gone down last year... so this can all happen in same day and i am looking forward to that day, so people will realize how bad it is to move everything towards internet and cloud... |

I think we'd find out quite quickly that the 'civilised' society that we live in isn't really that civilised and that it's largely technology holding things together.
There would be major civil unrest within a couple of days, if places had computer controlled security they'd be looted, there'd be limited food, probably our water supplies would stop?, forget trains etc to get you anywhere. No television No Radio 4
What would you do, to keep yourself afloat? |

"O my.
People would have to talk to each other face to face, not text, email, kik, WhatsApp etc.
What would they do? "
Kill each other for the food in their cupboards. |

I’ve often thought that terrorists don’t need bombs, they just need to switch off the servers for the internet.
As said previously everything would grind to a halt. Traffic lights, air traffic control, the NHS, banks, shops, security systems, etc
We’ve become totally reliant on the internet and everything digital. I’d survive on beans for a while as I have a camping stove lol.
Back to basics while supplies last.
