I love my cars and bikes and I want a new one of each.
My favourite bike I’ve owned is probably the CBR600. I traded it for a Yamaha R1 but I couldn’t get comfy on it like I could the 600. I’ve had my eye on a Rocket R3 converted to a trike but I look comically small on it so I’ll give that a miss.
I currently have a Mazda mx5 for track days but she’s getting old now and I want something quicker. I drove my bosses Nissan GT-R around a track this weekend I fell in love.
Based on this information, what bike would you suggest and are Nissan GTRs worth the cost in the long run as a track car |

Up on them there hills |
Had an old friend who was into this, level of play, hers was the smell of burning rubber.
Remember her driving about 70 straight to a drystone wall, she hit the breaks and the car stopped mm’s from the walk.
She put the window down and said, ‘smell that’.
Smell it I said, ‘I’m sat in it’.
Soon worked out which side of the B.D.S (M) spectrum I was on... |

Bikes leave me cold. Track cars are fun but I prefer my fun in three dimensions, so more of an aerobatics kind of guy. I'd love to have a go at air racing.. |

To be honest I don't really care what you'll be riding or driving on track day but I would like to know if you'll be wearing leathers and if so will you be putting pictures of said leathers on your profile?
It's for a friend. |

I only like people to see the back of my leathers |

Toys that make you scream? Lego. Stand on it and howl.
On another note, I’m craving an MX5 and a land rover defender. (Suspect the latter will only serve to make me scream obscenities of despair). |

Was the CBR600 the RR Model, with the exhaust under the seat or the older ones? Id go for a new gixer or why not a 2006 Yamaha R6 in black, damn thet bike is good.
Not sure about thr GTR for a track car, im giessing you mean the 2009 onwards model? Theyre still fetching around 30k so its quite an expensive track toy compared to the mx5, how about something cheaper like a BMW M3, i went to the nurburg in one of those last year, had a real blast! |

"Get yourself a Triumph Daytona 675 and Toyota GT86. They should give you a nice ride
C"
The 675 might be a good idea. I'll have a look
The GT86 doesn't really appeal to me for some reason |

No it was the F4i.
The GTR is pretty expensive, but it would get its use. I do like the M3, but I'm starting to lean towards a hot hatch back the more I think about it. I like the R32 but I'm not 100% how much customisation you can do to them. The MX5 is very open to the amount of 3rd party parts you can attach to it |

Are we talking about the R35 GTR?
If so, it’s a whole lot of car for what you pay for one second hand....but they’re also expensive to maintain/repair and run. Even with small modifications it’s going to take something very fast to catch one.
If you’re fancying a hatchback for track use, have you considered a turbo converted EP3 type R? You can pick them up for around £7000 with all the work done. Standard internals you’re fine to around 350bhp, once you forge then I’ve seen these civics with a turbo K20 over 500bhp.
A stripped out turbo type R with that amount of power.....not much will catch you on a track.
As has been said, the GTR is an expensive choice for a track car.
And touching on the R32 & R33.
Decent cars that can be tuned, but they’re old now, old and often have problem with rust etc.

all sounds a little tame really
I'd suggest free climb ice mountaineering , kite surfing try a powered kite loop , and downhill mountain biking x
I find powerfull cars are just a bit two dimensional xxx |
