So next weekend sees an extremely rare free weekend. It's so rare I'm unsure what to do with myself.
Throw some gear in the car and head to The Lakes for a couple of days? Stay at home and work through a huge list of jobs? Arrange a meet on Fab (ok I'm going too far there).
So what would everyone do with a free weekend with fairly limited finances - no jumping on a plane and finding the sun as that's not going to happen this weekend.
I might just pinch the best idea.

i'm currently renting so as much as i love a good diy project i keep thinking why would i do it to improve someone elses property when i could be gone in a few months.

Thanks for everyone for the suggestions. Plan was to pop up to Scotland for a bit of walking and cycling. however, after coming off the bike yesterday I am now sporting an ice pack on a knee the size of a football. Could end up being a quiet one unless it improves rapidly.  |
