How many dog owners just love taking their dog for a walk and find it a great way to unwind.

Our dog is a collie x German shepherd. 15 now and hips playing up. Vet told us no more than a half mile. He is like a pup when you put is lead on.

It's a great way to get out and unwind, any time, any weather. I don't so much any more though.

I imagine most dog owners love walking their dogs.

I’ll be taking my four to a lovely private wood later for a walk and a swim. Three of them are springers and they love playing fetch in water.

We used to have 5 when we had the farm but now we are in suburbia just the one.

It's horrid when they get old as you can see that are willing but their old bones won't let them

A friend suggested yumove tablets for him. Worked wonders for their lurches. Takes 4 weeks to take effect but giving it a go.

I'm finding it harder to walk to the park, around the park and back again, with my dogs.

My son takes them instead.

I was going to take them in turns but I feel sorry for the one left behind, on its own.

I have raised 3 Boarder Collies. The last one I had was called Spider, I used to work 12 hour shifts, then come home and have a pint and chill for an hour before taking him out for about an hour across the local park and round a few country lanes. When we got home, he would pant, have a drink of water, then lie at my feet and look at me as if to say "What are we doing now then Dad"?

I obviously went to bed, but the back door was left open 24/7 so he could run up the garden and bark at the cows in the field behind us

Don’t want to steal your thunder but they’ve recently split up.

Literally couldn’t live without mine.

Love the walks, the beaches and the amazing cuddles and kiss they give. Truly is no better love than that of a dog
