Dear Friends Fabbers and Forumites
I am sorry to say tjis country gent is a Snob!! A music snob that is .
It's an awful thing to admit to I know as I try to have such a fair non judgemental mind , open to new things.
I was driving with pooch today after a splendid beach wander and little paddle .
My CD player in the Poochmobile is temporarily broken . I drive an old car it was bought to suit Pooch ha ha a true story . I digress so the CD is busted and the car wireless seems to be stuck on Heart Radio .
After 5 minutes of what is described as mainstream pop music from the new beat combos I had to learn it of and cursed this new music as pap and rubbish.
It was then I realised I am a music snob .
As absolution I shall listen to heart fm for an hour later .
So chums what things do you find you feel a tad snobby about . Maybe wine or music or food
Come share and release

I very rarely listen to the radio anymore, usually if it's only a short journey. After flicking between stations for a few minutes I usually turn it off. |

Absolute here.
I had the grave misfortune to have my son in the car driving to Chepstow and, being a bit techy, he discovered he could link his phone to the car via bluetooth and joy of joys () we were listening to HIS music for 90 minutes . My ears were bleeding by the time we got there.
Utter shite!
Made a note to myself to re educate him and sort his taste in music |

The big one does this, even though the rule is that the driver decides the music.
I've got Magic Soul in the car now so I sometimes move from R4 and 6Music. |

Designer brands doing things they’re not good at.
Armani/Micheal kors watches for example.
Insanely overpriced built with cheap components and a brand name stamped on them.
Japanese built watches are much better quality often for less money. |

Agree with the Primark comments, I threaten to buy my Daughter's clothes from there when she doesn't keep her bedroom tidy, take her in and always walk out refusing to spend my money on that tat.
Also looking for a new car, and when I see the location of some garages I discount it immediately, much to the annoyance of everyone trying to help me find one

I’m afraid I’m going to disagree taff - even if I am an old fart! I actually like a lot of the current stuff as long as it has a good rhythm! There are several top 40 tunes that I’ll happily sing along to on radio 1 or Rock FM! Then again - I’ve long been a child trapped in a woman’s body!
If I’m snobby about anything, it’s good food! Places like Macdonalds are my idea of hell on earth - and I’d love to meet (and thump) the moron who came up with the idea of dissecting a perfectly good chip and turning it into fries!! |

A bit of a book snob here...has to be old books. Not new ones. There's a certain old book smell that you just don't get with brand spanking new ones off the shelves in Waterstones (other bookstores are available)
Give me a quaint little second hand book store please.
Oh and wool |

"I’m a music snob, I only like BBC Radio 6. "
I'll see you that and raise you Radio 3.
Actually the recent dumbing down there means I'm more likely to listen to foreign stations. So a language snob too! |
