My best but worse car too
Was my Alfa GTV 3.0 V6
Wow sound was amazing, acceleration brilliant, check it out on you tube against a Porsche or Ferrari
The engine was a thing of beauty, but no room under bonnet for anything else
Trouble was it spent more time off the road than on, couldn’t get out of 2nd gear in town as it was struggling to do less than 30mph in 3rd
15 mpg in town
But what a car |

To me, my best car was and still is my Chrysler Crossfire.
A more aggressive looking version of the SLK. Massive boot, spoiler that automatically lifted when you hit 65mph, it was gorgeous. Only a V6 but sounded awesome.
MK was the best town to be in to own a car like that, loved ragging it down the dual carriageways etc.

Ah Alfa had one myself ... blew the head gasket ... still loved it...

Am I thinking of the correct car here? The 24v?
Because in its standard form would be nowhere near a Porsche or Ferrari, it’s not even capable of 0-60 in under 6 seconds |

"You all know it’s the Toyota Hilux.
The terrorists vehicle of choice and can handle having a 50 Cal mounted on it
That should get the Lane joggers out of the way on the motorways
Hoggers even "
Nissan titan or ford f550 superduty. They could have way more weight than a 50cal.

I was looking at one of these this winter, or a navara. Gets pretty annoying not being able to move my car when there’s a bit of snow. |

Being a self confessed petrol head over the years I have found it's about what you enjoy.
So for me the best car in the world is the one which I am driving currently and is mine!
I've been fortunate enough to own and drive some very very nice cars...(going to Germany in a few weeks time to thrash a McLaren 720s around some corners)
The only real conclusion I have come to it's all about what you want from it....
Currently enjoying a 530e M sport...I just love the electric motor boost on it and just flying off into the distance...it don't have a booty that likes to occasionally wobble..yes I know I could have gone with the X drive but no fun otherwise....
Was driving back from Manchester to Leeds in the snow...M Power...soon turned into M Poweraghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The new M5 looks like....mmmmmm tempting |

"My vote goes to Toyota Corolla, an absolute trooper in my opinion!
It must be good as there are more Corollas sold than any other car."
Actually the worlds most sold car is Ford F150. |

"My gorgeous SLK is pretty special, its the best car I have owned anyway."
Lovely car and I love how low down you feel when driving it!
Love the little heated air vents near the head rests as well when you have the top down.
Had one for 3 months |

I have a 1987 vintage mx5 convertible - bought it for £1200 and probably have spent about that much on it - but it’s a beaut and drives magnificently - worth around 5k now |

I needed something a little bigger and more practical so I looked at the C 63 AMG and as much as I liked it it was too boy racer for me...So so then went for the new 5 series...which is just lovely but thinking about a new M5 now....power! |

best as in most reliable, was my old saab 93, absolute tank of a car, did 145k miles in it, and only swapped the battery, fabulous.
best as is in love, my current x6, just because it looks so different to other cars on the road. Appreciate that its arguably not a 'proper' 4x4, but its fast, and in my opinion looks pretty cool.
Best car ever, anything by aston martin. |

I had a gleaming black 156 2.4 jtd. Beautiful car inside and out and went like stink depite being diesel (I need the mpg with the mileage I do..) - but yeah, cost me a fortune and you never quite knew if you were going to get to your destination..... but I still miss it. |

I can't believe you all got it wrong
The original Mini, the blueprint for all family cars, one can't help but smile when you see one, drive one and you'll smile for weeks.
Can you imagine the Italian Job being made with any of the above? |

Oh it's a toss up between the austin 1ltr mini metro in navy blue or the austin 1.3ltr maestro also in dark blue!
The gear linkage was a feet of engineering wizardry...
I had a run of epic cars in my early driving years....

"Tesla model X. Great allrounder."
Tesla right now is making the cars of the future.
No supercars as fast as the Tesla Roadster and Tesla Semi is just an amazing lorry. Councils around America (and the world) should order them since they claim they want to reduce pollution levels. Maybe they could use them to collect the rubbish and other activities. |

It's not the weight of the weapon, all of them could comfortably bear the weight......it's the recoil.
Documentary evidence abounds of the Hilux being used as an effective gun platform......give the others time and who knows! |
