Well not a mug exactly, more like a philistine (apparently)for drinking proper tea out of one & not a cup. Ignore the cup on my profile pic, that's just there for artistic effect.
Dinner party or restaurant for me = Cup, Otherwise mug.

I like big mugs and I cannot lie.
But as Rubi says.... afternoon has to be a cup and saucer. There's a lovely quaint little tea room near me that serves the milk in a cow porcelain milk jug. |

I need to find this tea room!
I'd go along with that & adapt my restaurant to also include tea rooms. |
