I don't think you can put a fixed age on it, but certainly as I've got older, life has got better for me, or perhaps that's because I've become more confident in myself and will take steps to go out and get what I want in life.
I've also found the older I get, the less I worry about what people will think of me, and I've realised life really is short. I don't think you appreciate how short life is when you're younger.
Embrace turning 40, as it's damn better than the other option! |

Happy birthday. I found Fab when I was 43 and haven’t looked back. I’m turning 50 on Sunday
My forties have been Fabulous. Enjoy them as much as possible. It’s a time of your life when you know what you want, what pleases you and what you want to explore!

Happy birthday. Do you have any plans?.
Life did start at 40 for me. My son was 15 so not as dependant and i could go out more. I think my confidence grew as i lost the ability to give a fuck of what people thought of me. I also met the love of my life when i was 41. Im 53 now and old age definetly suits me. I like a quite easy life. No drama and to be honest not sure id survive my 20s and 30s again |

We’re 42 and 40 and have never been happier or more content in our whole lives! We aren’t wealthy, we aren’t the slimmest or prettiest that we’ve ever been either! Just be happy and love yourself, obey your needs and try not to worry about your wants! Happy birthday to you and take care x |

The biggest difference Ive noticed on fab, since turning 40, 10 days ago is the huge increase in really young guys messaging me saying they want to meet an older women. I dont feel any older in myself except every time i get a message like that lol, and I have no desire to play with anyone thats younger than my son who is 22, id feel like a paedo lol xx |

I don’t think my life began. But I think new chapters can be started. Call it a midlife crisis or whatever, but I did start to look at doing things differently to say I did through my 30s. |

Only you can make your life begin/change and you can do that at any age.
Don't make changes and 40 will be exactly the same as it was at 39
