I used to spend ages choosing which ones to have the shop keeper put in the white paper bag. It was simpler ten; just adding up the 1p and 2ps!
The long jelly eels were 3p though, the balance of sacrificing another sweet for the extra length was always a difficult choice. |

I preferred to get a 10p Lucky bag rather than a 10p mix. Never knew what you were gonna get in the Lucky bag.  |
