I was hearing on the news, it was interesting, they did an experiment where one side of the students didnt use social media and the other did, can you guess who got the best results and grades? Yes, the ones that didnt use social media, whats your view, do you also agree that being on the media is hindering some students?

Yes totally agree, kids would rather chat to their friends on social media than do anything at all

I grew up with the early days, MySpace, Bebe and then later Facebook and insta. In my experience the kids who wanted to learn and progress did, while those who didn’t, didnt.

Just another scapegoat like video games and rap or heavy rock music. Parents/Teachers will do anything but look at their teaching methods it seems

Don't blame the parents - I'm a mature student and the urge to use smart phone (ie not just for social media) is incredibly high.
