Having a bad day. Sitting in small clinic waiting to see a doctor. The lady across from me was eating a very big bag of tayto. Very noisy might I add. She couldn't seem to close her mouth. The sound was really doing my head in. Felt like telling her to feck off. She eventually gets called. I relax. Then later I realise how quite it is.
Walk to reception and no one there. Check all the rooms and no one in them either. Quickly realise they have all gone to lunch. Then to make matters worse the Secretary barely apologises and tells me to come back at 3. Needless to say I am very frustrated. |

They’re thebiggest selling brand of crisps in Ireland. My Irish chums rave about them, despite the quality being lower than the cheapest, nastiest, own brand supermarket crisps you can think of.
Honestly, you’d think an island famed for growing and surviving on potato would be able to make a decent crisp. |

Similar thing happened to me. Turned up to an emergency appointment, sat in the waiting room for ages then the Dr came out, locked her door and walked away without seeing me.
Went to see the receptionist and was told she went into a meeting. I'm doubled up in pain, crying at the receptionist whilst politely but loudly explaining how horrific it was for them to leave me waiting when there was Jo intention to see me.
Suddenly the Dr was able to be released from the meeting v long enough to diagnose kidney stones and prescribed pain killers and antibiotics for an infection as well. |
