Having been well and truly played by someone off here long term, I'm definitely more cynical now then I've ever been before. So no, not much fun in that! I didn't know about the forums for a long time though, and that's the bit I still find fun.

Mainly being here for the forums and here over seven years I've seen a lot of people whom I really respected and/or enjoyed their posts that have left.

I'd say the middle section of those seven years was the best.

But there's always new and interesting prey arriving daily.

I like it or wouldn't keep coming back. I think it's changed in the number of guys on here. I get the feeling a lot of women and couples have been put off meeting by pushy guys and only meet women or other couples now which is a shame. It's harder to get a meet than it used to be but it is what it is.

I liked the attention when I first joined. Boosted my confidence, although I was overwhelmed with the volume if messages and not wanting to offend people.

Now I enjoy giving sometimes quite cutting responses to some messages. That makes me sound mean, I'm not, I just call people out on bullshit in my own no frills way.

For example... I can smell bullshit and it's offending my nostrils and my intelligence.

And over 1 year latter since joining I'm still a virgin......

BUT i coodount use the forums then eather.....

I guess in a way yes but in another no....... let me explain.... at the start there was some optimistic exuberance ....... as the site seemed refreshingly different from other sex sites.

But the more you get into it the more you realise the little cliques there are on here...... a LOT of smart arses that can be quite passive aggressive (especially to newbies) in the forums.

But with experience on here I have managed to get to know some truly remarkable people and expectations are a lot more grounded.

It was much quieter when I joined and more about swinging. Hooking up with couples and singles was fairly easy and the site was entirely free unlike SH and the likes.

I still think its the best site of its kind and you get way more features for free. The site supprter fee is worth every penny for the extra features it gives.

National attention from media has had a bit of an adverse effect as its brung too many horny wankers to the place.

But on the whole, I love Fab.

5 yrs here and it was easier to find a fwb back then. Now it appears for many it's a numbers game.

At the start I met couples but quickly got fed up of being treated like a performing seal for a show or a curious fem. And every couple I ever met the man then pursued me behind his wifes/partners back (to the point I had a mad fem causing me drama at work)

I now rarely meet.. I don't have the energy to deal with the drama of meets due to poor health

Not every couple or every man in a couple is like that. We play with every meet as a person with their own wants and desires that hopefully we can intermingle with ours so we all have fun. Since we joined and with both of us being able to meet separately I (LB) have never even looked for a meet by myself let alone with trying to entice one half of a couple to meet alone as most of my pleasure comes from seeing P in action...And joining in of course.

Initially I was nervous about putting pics up, now I am always thinking about new ideas.

The forums are a constant platform for people to get a hint of what I'm/they're like as a person.

I think my approach to the site has evolved since I first started using it, even since I first set up this solo profile - not sure my enjoyment of it has changed a great deal though. It has peaks and troughs and some days where I really wonder why I bother, but others where it's interesting, informative and fun - so on balance it's probably about the same.

My experience has become less fun as I find it very difficult to find matches in my area, clubs are too far away, as are most large social gatherings.

I've had my pics stolen again and 3 fake profiles created using them. Also I've been scared shitless by one guy on a meet, stalked and have been disrespected and felt humiliated along the way.

I like the Forums though when I'm bored but as a poster above stated, the best characters were banned and not as funny as a few years ago.

Totally different for me now. I first started on fab looking for answers, a solution. Total loss of confidence in myself.

Just speaking to others gave me a renewed sense of who I was and it didn't matter if I had lumpy bits or couldn't do certain things.

Now, for me it's a way to keep in touch with those I've spoken to.

Way too many timewasters now , dreamers and people who have no real intention of meeting .

A severely watered down forum which makes free speech , honesty , and genuine discourse impossible .

A pc brigade ready to pour their vitriol at every chance they get .

Spelling police on the forums getting their kicks pulling people up at every opportunity .

I know it seem like it’s lost all of its appeal , but there are still some good things about the site . I just need a few minutes to think about what they are .....

When i joined it was from another site so i knew all about timewasters etc, which you get on all sites..

I also discovered the forums pretty quickly so learnt everything i neede to know from there..

The thing that i think has changed most over the years is there are a lot more married men/women playing away than there used to be but as long as they dont bother me its live and let live

After the initial euphoria of thinking I might get meets as soon I joined(single man reality check) died away and discovered what this site is really about I started to enjoy it more.

I love reading the forums although I don't post that much and I've not had a meet in ages.

So I would say yes I still enjoy the site just in differing ways.

I was definitely like a rabbit in headlights when I joined, and wondered if I had made a huge mistake. Fast forward a year and I’m really enjoying it (mostly!).

I’ve been lucky enough to meet some genuinely lovely people who I’m friends with as well as playmates.

It’s done my confidence a world of good too. Being a big girl, I was worried that people wouldn’t find me attractive or want to meet, but I’ve been proven wrong.

And I’ve learned a few new tricks too

Nope! A bit jaded from meets tbh. The site forum is where we reside which is the most censored forum we've ever taken part in. There's other forums though that cater for truly outspoken and uncensored opinions which is fun for the super thick skinned. Having said, here is still a bit cool though.

It’s like a pair of Levi’s jeans, you have to grow into them first by convincing yourself they will fit, they won’t fit of course but they are Levi’s so you never let them go .....
