Loads of runners on here. There are quite a few threads and even a couch to 5km group!

I'm doing Brighton marathon on sunday, first of at least 3 fulls this year

I wouldn't say I'm into it but it's a requirement in my job so do it quite often!

I used to be. Then I moved somewhere REALLY hilly, so wussed out. Running uphill hurts and running downhill is bloody hazardous as my legs seem to gain their own mind and don’t let me know what they have planned.

Uphill running is so good for you really works the legs muscles and well down hill running us just fun put your arms out to the side for balance and just let your legs go.

The running bug does get you, think its the feel good factor after you have finished and achieved something that I like.

We both do, we started about a year ago, she runs the longer routes (5 - 7 miles) I run shorter more regularly (2 miles 5 or six times a week).

Never got into running, and I'm definitely not fit enough to run, which is odd seeing as I can do 100 miles on my bike, and be fine, but can't run 5 miles, as I say, odd

Yep Clears my mind.

I also like to think I’d out run the zombies in the event of a catastrophic viral outbreak
