So what is submarineing?
Well, it starts with someone who you’re involved with disappearing. A bit like ghosting, it goes from everything’s fine and we’re almost at the good-night text stage, to radio silence. Total nothingness. A bit like they’ve got on a submarine, gone under the water and are literally incapable of contacting you.
But then, months later, they come back. Much like an olden days sailor who shipped off, went under the sea and then came back triumphant from his mission, he returns. No explanation and as if nothing's even happened.

Thread was about submarining and I do find it very cheeky of him to contact me after 10 months especially as it was him that essentially just igno_ed me.
The thread was just about that, no intention of meeting him as once I'm done I'm done, might take me a while longer than most folk to get there but just like every other person I can say no, I'm not that much of a freak. |

Was asked if I could meet the following weekend which I couldn't as I had my child and from then I was igno_ed which I hate, the more I see they've been online on WhatsApp and are choosing to ignore me the more wound up I got which led to that message. Not one of my proudest moments and it's something I've been working on, with each ass hat I encounter I'm getting more and more chilled, it's not even chill, it's just not giving a fuck anymore. |

I think the two things to be aware of, as a woman on this site, is that most men are here for casual sex and that men like variety.
Hence you will get a man being all attentive because he is getting sex from a hot woman and then he gets bo_ed and loses interest. Fast forward a few months and his interest is revived and he contacts you again.
I agree it's rude to just ignore someone, but it's the nature of the beast on here. I wouldn't get agitated about it |

I met him and whilst with him was told we would do this and that when we met again. Was asked if I could meet the following weekend which I couldn't as I had my child and from then I was igno_ed which I hate, the more I see they've been online on WhatsApp and are choosing to ignore me the more wound up I got which led to that message. Not one of my proudest moments and it's something I've been working on, with each ass hat I encounter I'm getting more and more chilled, it's not even chill, it's just not giving a fuck anymore.
Just a thought, but reacting to a perceived slight by threatening to kick someone's teeth down their throat may explain some of the problems you have with men.

Oh yes, I've experienced it a lot in my time but didn't realise it had a name. I put it down to whatever "relationship" they were in, with someone much better than you obviously , going belly-up and then they crawl back to you, pretending that no time has elapsed and expecting to pick up where they left off.
