Those who knew and listened to music in the early 90s (and if you listen to Absolute Radio [mods-I’m not affiliated with that radio station ]) will have some great memories of some great bands. And living around it locally the music and the scene it’s self was fantastic.
It was to me, as good as the Brit invasion of America back in the 60s.
But which band stands out for as the lasting legacy from the Madchester time?
Let’s ave it? |

Saw them in Manchester when they were supporting Happy Mondays in 1990. Superb x"
The video (can’t remember what song it was for) with the mopeds , an old friend and his biking buddies were in it. |

"Not a band but he put lots on the right road. including happy Monday who almost bankrupted him and main founder of the hacienda. The late great Tony Wilson. What a sad end of days he had. " |

I was reading about all this today, I don’t even think he did it for the money. (ULike most labels), and really gave people opportunities more than anything. The damn Hacienda . Thank the Happy Monday’s for the demise. "
The Mondays did do a job on him but it wasn't just them not performing that was his demise there was a lot more going on in and out the hac that not to many know about. |
