Currently engaging in a grim battle of wills between me and a beast of a house spider that I've trapped under a glass. Sadly on an uneven surface so the whole paper underneath trick isn't an option :/

find a piece of card....... take it from the front of a cereal box.
Very gently and slowly, ease the glass onto the card.
It will work on an uneven floor.
Leave the glass on the floor.
Open the door.
Slide card over to the door, pick up carefully , supporting the card.
Put the glass down. Gently lay on it's side and then go in until spider goes off.
Failing that hit the fucker with a hammer. |

Make friends with it .
House spiders munch their way through all the bogglins that live in our homes. Bogglins that are bad for us . So chat to your multi legged friend and give her a name .
Larger spiders tend to be female . Male spiders are jolly small and make a splendid meal for lady spiders  |

I hate spiders, they do get hit with a slipper when found in the house or sucked up the hoover. We tried putting them outside but they just come back in

Pass, I know it's the wrong thing to do, but they have to go, I have a terrible phobia of them and even get panic attacks sometimes when I see them so all rational thought goes out the window.
