Even though I haven't watched Coronation Street in over a year, I'll never forget some of the classic episodes I have seen many years ago.
My favourite has to be the Mad Maya episodes. Maya was all kinds of crazy and was a pretty scary character when she planned her ultimate revenge on killing Dev and Sunita by blowing up the corner shop with them in the flat upstairs. I'm sure I was on edge all the time throughout those episodes wondering how will Dev and Sunita survives this nightmarish ordeal.
What is your favourite classic episode of Corrie? |

Still makes me smile after all these years "

It was sad when Stanley dies and Hilda is there at the table holding his glasses |

True.... Similar sadness when Vera passed away and Jack carried on talking to her. |

Just watched some classic episodes from way back in the early 2000s on YouTube which had the most memorable moments like Karen McDonald's exit on Christmas day, the reveal of Toyah's rapist attacker, Mad Maya's revenge on Dev and Sunita and Emily Bishop stopping Breda Fearns from jumping off the church tower with Sarah's daughter Bethany.
What I like about these storylines is that they didn't drag on for so long like the ones that have been on Corrie today.
Anyone agree? |
