What one item would you relegate to the depths of Room 101, and why?
I'd shove in any drivers who park in Blue Badge spaces, but don't have a Blue Badge. Selfish, arrogant knobheads...
...and breathe... |

Be a shame if their cars got scratched |

And those that park in parent & child spaces but have no kids with them!

Every one who lives on my side of the street does that, us included. If we didn't do that (there is another footpath on other side) then our major bus route becomes a logjam and emergency services and buses can't navigate through the small gaps safely. I'm sure you'd rather the inconvenience of crossing the road rather than seeing your house burn down or family member die in front of you because the blue light responder is stuck half a mile away because they can't get through a gap. I would love someone to miraculously supply me with a driveway or off road parking but being as I'm someone who lives in the real world I know it's not going to happen so I try to make the best of a bad situation. I don't want to do it and my car (as has most of our side) been scratched but the roads we have weren't designed for the number of cars on the road so enlighten me as to a solution to fix the problem. |
