After all it’s a good way to suss people out by their posts here? Or maybe you’ve directed someone you already met to use the forums.
There’s plenty of flirting goes on at times I’ve noticed.

There can be drawbacks from meeting ppl from the forum none of which I’ve experienced. I found my wonderful Swing on the forum so no complaints from me  |

In terms of 'play' meets with forumites in general I have seen it go very, very wrong - or conversely very, very right and the saccharine love-in afterwards has made me wince a little.
That being said, I have met fellow forum users for more than social reasons on a handful of occasions. The weirdest thing I found was when other people commented on threads about forum hookups I've had in the past when I haven't mentioned them or pissed on any lamp posts; it seems there are some male forum users other female forumites are very invested in and take note of who they meet. Maybe people are just nosey, but it makes me feel a bit icky nevertheless. |

Personally I prefer it and have mainly met forum users in the past. Most forum users are a bit more relaxed than some other members of fab in my opinion.
I met my ex partner through the forums though and it can make things a bit meh when he reappears |

I was very wary of this and rightly so. Never again would I display a verfication or allow someone to make me out to be something Im clearly not or as if Im stupid about there true intent.
Friendships can turn into something not very nice when you are both not open, honest with a bit of intregity.

Use to use a different site for years before joining fab. The chatrooms and forums were one of the best places to get to know people. Starting to find out its the same on here although not tried chat yet. But so far there are few that have caught my eye but dont hold out any hope of catching theirs |

"In terms of 'play' meets with forumites in general I have seen it go very, very wrong - or conversely very, very right and the saccharine love-in afterwards has made me wince a little.
That being said, I have met fellow forum users for more than social reasons on a handful of occasions. The weirdest thing I found was when other people commented on threads about forum hookups I've had in the past when I haven't mentioned them or pissed on any lamp posts; it seems there are some male forum users other female forumites are very invested in and take note of who they meet. Maybe people are just nosey, but it makes me feel a bit icky nevertheless."

Have met lots of forumites socially and playfully over the years,been out the forums for a good while but like a neb now and again, maybe I'll drop by more often, good to see plenty of you still here |

I’ve never played with anyone from the forum, I’ve only met them for a social (can’t include ads in that as when we met. We met with a view to a relationship). I don’t know why I never met anyone for sex from the forum when I was single!
There are plenty of ladies on here we would love to meet one day though.
