Am 50 today why is it so many people get depressed counting birthdays I don't get up or down about them only time was when I was a kid for the gifts apart from that what's people's feelings on there birthdays |

I think people tend to find them upsetting as they lose there magic as you get older, and it almost just becomes another day, for me I've learned the value of money and don't like folk spending money just because I was born on that day, but I always treat myself to a cake or something tasty. That's just my take on it.

I used to go weird around my birthday. Then realised it’s a day for other people to show you they care. So I organise stuff now. It also shows you who doesn’t give a crap too. It’s the attention all on them people don’t like. An the fact you should be happy, makes people do the opposite.
