Anyone for a Mars trip? A small crew, just over a year traveling (would make an Oz trip seem like a nanosecond).
Could you face the isolation, lack of facilities and the risks there? Disagreements with others traveling? Enjoying the weightlessness? |

I always wondered what it must feel like to be stood on the moon, looking back at lovely liveable earth, and your rocket wont start up. Full on panic attack. I prefer my feet on ground with oxygen please |

I wouldn't, even for a tourist trip - too far and long a trip, no hospitals and services, no healthy outdoors wildlife and beauty as I know it. And earth would be but a speck in the sky. Family and friends disappeared forever.
As a pioneer, it's potentially one-way only, for you to settle, breed and populate. I'd feel humans were on a course to destroy another planet, without learning to care for our own.
I'd be tempted by the moon, if both ways but an enormous amount of fuel to waste |
