"She had a difficult and complex life and I'm not sure we'll ever know the full story. The bad stuff will be resurrected but maybe some of the good will not be forgotten.

Yeah she had good points and bad which leaves me a little undecided on how I feel on this news. |

If she hadn't remained such a strong campaigner then I think Nelson Mandela would have slipped from vision and would have been buried as a terrorist.

You can do a hundred good things but, just one incident like that cancels out the hundred good in my opinion...And she made a habit of it. There was just no need, her soul was dead long before her body. |

Agree. Rotten to the core and probably got away with more than we’ll ever know. A shame as there probably was some good there. |

I say good riddance to her to, the world is better off without her. Used her position to torture and abuse. Heinous crimes, I don't care how much good she did, she was evil to the core. X |

If you believe what has been said about her then I'd agree with the posts above. However I always got the impression we had been fed a lot of propaganda on her and many aspects of her story simply don't add up.
Why didn't we all wear T-shirts with a "Jail / Execute Winnie Mandela" slogan? |

As someone who has heard about SA and Apartheid from the horse's mouth, shall we say, I believe it all. Corrupt. Evil. Shameless. She put the darkness into the real struggle of SA and yes, there are probably 100 good things she did but they DO NOT out weigh the 1000 evil, heinous, deplorable things she did do or ordered people to do. |

Totally agree Greg is south African and was over there when she was at her hight she is evil to the core not a great champion for SA. RIP her victims maybe justice for them has been served. |
