Women's sex toys are mostly vibrators/ plastic cocks/ dildo's - arguably reducing the need for a man to just a cock.
The sex toy market for men is evolving into sex dolls.
Some people fear that sex dolls position women as toys for men to play with. Is it healthy to encourage men to fuck 'women' (sex dolls) who don’t talk, move, or even breathe?
Why are sex dolls often frowned on but vibrators/ plastic cocks are seen as acceptable?

Because I don't think a dildo or vibrator are anywhere near the same as a sex doll or robot.
Men have fleshlights, sleeves and similar and can also use dildos.
Personally I think sex dolls and robots are a big step up from that. And women can use them too. Personally I wouldn't and am not interested in anyone who is into that or has one or whatever.

It's because men take it too far that's why people think it's weird. Women (most) are a little more reserved and discreet about sex toys. That documentary was scary to know you could be speaking to creepy people like that in every day life but we're all different so each to their own I guess. I really don't like the idea of some sex dolls. They are made to look like very young "women" and I find the idea of someone getting off using one or imagining they have a relationship with one to be very disturbing.
There are plenty of male toys such as fleshlight etc and these i have no issue with, they are no different to women having vibrators.
