Buy nice new undies, or/and shoes/boots. Then go for lunch. Get hair done even if its only a wash and blow dry. Buy some goodies and bottle of wine for later. Go home and pamper yourself, face masks, nails ect xx |

I spoil myself....
During the day, I find somewhere nice to walk (not hard in Devon), then I go to waitrose and buy some nice food (a good cut of meat, some fresh veggies), after which I come home, hopefully its getting dark, I cook and eat my gorgeous food, open a nice bottle of red or two, light some candles, turn the lights down low and either listen to music or watch a DvD that makes me smile (Amelie or As Good As It Gets etc.).
Then I get into a freshly made bed (with clean linen) and drift off with a smile.... |

I dont get down as such but sometimes a bit tired and fed up. If I do I think of all the good things in my life, my family, my partner, my health, my friends and that some people have such a hard life that I really should not feel sorry for myself.
Having said that, in looking for "feel good things"... the odd pair of new shoes does come to mind, as does a bar of G & B chocolate, a bottle of champagne and a chat with my best mates....;-) |
