Bonfire night is November 5th right??? No one has changed it without me knowing?
PS would it be terribly wrong of me to go and shove a rather large firework up the rectum of the twat that keeps letting these things off in my street? |

I never ever understand how people would depart with hard earned cash to watch something that last just a few seconds?????
There will be hundreds (if not, thousands) of folk saying they can't afford to keep their heating on because of the rise in fuel bills yet they will happily spend a fair amount on fireworks... I just don't get it
A fiver (or tenner) to get into an organised display surely must have more appeal? |

Funnily, we where talking about that yesterday. They have the fireworks on display in tesco and a box which i would think might last 15 minutes cost £80
When callum was young I used to take him (im ok if i stand at the back) and his friend to the lions display and the atmosphere was fantastic and about £20000 worth of fireworks and it worked out less than £10. If i had my way they would be banned and groups and organizations would have to apply to the council to get authorization to use them |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
I have a great clip on my lappy of a goup of lads messing about. One has his trousers down and puts the stick of a rocket in his arse and then a "mate" lights it! The sight of this lad with this bloody rocket screeching away and finishing with a healthy "bang" whilst still stuck firmly in his arse will stay with me for ever! Wish I could find the clip on the net and link to it! |

Between now and mid November, I have to make sure all my animals are safely indoors by about 9pm, otherwise the teens etc that think its fun terrify them.
The dog loves them though, practically oohs and ahhhs at them out the window! |

Totally agree. I hate the things! I've always had to watch my poor terrified cats hide in fear because of the damn things! And it's not funny.
What's worse is that each year it starts earlier and earlier and ends much later than the 5th. So many kids get injured too! And still they persist with this nonsense. |
