"Yes I am, tomorrow and Sunday but off today and Monday."
My other ‘alf is working a long shift a tad the pub Sunday.
Starts at 7am as a carer then to the pub. They’re doing bacon butties and tea/coffee at 8 for some religious people who’ll have watched the sun rise.
Sunday roasts next.
Then sausages and chips for the charity tractor drivers.
Finishing off with a quiz in the evening. |

Work is only open weekends & bank hols. Probably be working shifts on Sunday and Monday.
(Voluntary, so no pay and nobody else to blame, for the alarm clock). |

Then only day I’ve got off is Easter Sunday. It’s shit. In the 6 years I’ve been in this job I’ve never had an Easter weekend off, except 3 years ago when I was off sick and in hospital instead so that don’t count lol |
